Bahram Yusefzadeh - Executive Chairman

Bahram Yusefzadeh is an entrepreneur and technology pioneer with more than 35 years of experience in all facets of business development. From creating and managing high tech companies, to acquiring and advising businesses and steering them to the public market, he has employed his strong vision and keen insight to assess the needs and growth potential of organizations to strategically position them for success. Mr. Yusefzadeh is the founder of two successful enterprises, including Phoenix International, a leading publicly held international banking software developer. He led the company from start-up through IPO, secondary offering, and acquisition (purchased in 2001 by London Bridge Group).

Robert B. Bird

Mr. Bird has over eleven years of experience in management and network security and architecture. Prior to Red Lambda, Mr. Bird served as the Director of Network Services of the University of Florida's $8M, 10,000 user residence hall network. Prior to this effort, he was responsible for the network security of USDA-sponsored research programs valued at $100M, spanning 67 counties in Florida. He is the co-author of over 15 US Patents, covering such areas as Holistic Network Management, Unsupervised Real-Time Learning and Security in Large-Scale Distributed Systems. Mr. Bird has testified before the US House of Representatives as an expert witness regarding the elimination of child pornography on the Internet and the mitigation of peer-to-peer file sharing. In 2005, Mr. Bird was co-awarded the State of Florida's Davis Productivity Award for outstanding contributions to efficiency and cost-savings within state agencies.

Rob is an active member of the IETF, IEEE & ACM, having served as technical chair for conferences on Computational Intelligence for Security and Defense Applications, and Bio-Inspired Computing for Defense. Rob is also a member of the IETF NEA (Network Endpoint Assessment), SAAG (Security Area Advisory Group), OPSEC (Operational Security for IP Network Infrastructure) & MANET (Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks) working groups. Rob has also served as PI (Principal Investigator) of the NSF SBIR Grant "Red Lambda Neuro-Pattern Classification System."

Rob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Florida


David Carter

Mr. Carter brings over 30 years of senior executive and financial experience to V2R Group. Prior to joining the team, he served for six years as EVP/CFO for the Banc Corporation (TBNC), a $1.4 billion publicly traded financial institution headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama. In addition, he served for two years as President of the Bank, the Banc Corporation’s primary subsidiary which was comprised of 19 branches in Alabama and seven in the panhandle of Florida. Mr. Carter also served for 14 years as EVP/CFO for Trustmark Bank (TRMK), a regional publicly traded financial institution headquartered in Jackson, Mississippi. During his tenure with Trustmark and The Banc Corporation, he was instrumental in acquiring and merging 22 financial institutions. He has vast experience in dealing with the SEC and Banking Regulatory agencies. He also led the acquisition teams that raised capital on numerous occasions in order to complete multiple mergers.
